1. Lightweight PHP Backend: FreshRSS fetches feed XML directly, parsing and indexing entries locally.
2. Privacy Protections: Configured to request feeds via anonymized proxy tunnels.
3. No External Analytics: Disable telemetry features and tracking scripts.

The "Baigan" Take (Expert Insights)

A list of feeds you read is a profile of your thoughts. Sharing it with ad agencies is a baigan-level mistake. Host FreshRSS and read without tracking.
